Kindy Room Philosophy

In the Becoming/Kindergarten Room, we believe that the early years are a holistic journey of adventure and investigation for each unique individual through play-based experiences. This occurs with supportive indoor and outdoor learning environments, valuing families, and the wider community, incorporating the principles, practices and learning outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines. Independence is encouraged through self-selection, child choice and the freedom to explore, fostering the development of skills to provide a foundation of learning for Prep and future education.
